Outstanding Peformance as a Senior Student Affairs Officer

One of the region's most prestigious awards, this recognition is presented to an individual who has excelled as a dean in the student affairs profession. Criteria include:

      • Sustained professional service in the area of student personnel work;

      • High-level competency in administrative skills;

      • Merited stature among and support of students, faculty, and fellow administrators on his/her campus;

      • Innovative response in meeting varied and emerging needs of students;

      • Effectiveness in the development of junior staff members;

      • Significant contributions to the field through publications and professional involvement; leadership in university and community affairs;

In addition to the regional recognition that accompanies this award, the recipient will be considered for the national Scott Goodnight Award
