Education
The education at the NASPA Annual Conference is considered among the best in the industry. Each session is chosen for its relevance, value, and ability to advance the professional development of each attendee. The Conference Schedule lists all education sessions by time block. Please note, pre-conference workshops are an additional charge.
Networking
This conference brings together senior-level, mid-level, Faculty, new professionals and students all interested in student affairs. Networking takes place at receptions, luncheons, and other miscellaneous events. However, the best networking at the conference is during the educational sessions and featured speakers. Strong bonds are formed when student affairs professionals take on the role of student and grow professionally together during sessions.

As a first-time attendee, make sure you start connecting and chatting now through NASPA Facebook and NASPA Twitter. Also, plan to stay connected through the new NASPA Web based Mobile Application when it is launched later this month.
First-Time Attendee Lounge
The First-Time Attendee Lounge exists for you to meet other first-time conference attendees as well as to get acquainted with some veteran NASPA members and leaders. The lounge, located in the Sheraton - North Mountain, is open from Saturday through Wednesday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Attire
Dress for the conference is business casual. It is not necessary to wear suits, ties, etc., unless you are planning to participate in The Placement Exchange, that occurs immediately preceding the 2012 NASPA Annual Conference.
