Retention, Graduation, and the Degree Completion agenda, are buzzwords in higher education. Nationally, Student Affairs is being asked how they contribute to student success. Given the focus on transfer student retention and graduation rates, UNC’s Housing department and the Undergraduate Retention office created a program to help transfers connect to the university and ultimately, persist to graduation. This session provides program strategies and assessment methods on how to partner with academic affairs to support transfer student success.
