As student-veterans continue to become a part of the higher education landscape,they seek out a point of contact that will help their transition to college. Without anestablished point of contact the presenter's university experimented with “Safe Zone” type trainingfor faculty and staff for student-veterans to use as a resource. The Green Zone programwas piloted this past year and the presenter will share strategies for implementation and lessons learned.
