Ground Transportation from Seattle-Tacoma (Sea-Tac) International Airport Sea-Tac International Airport is located 16 miles south of downtown Seattle. By car, a trip from Sea-Tac airport to most downtown hotels takes approximately 20-30 minutes (depending on the traffic). By metro transit or scheduled shuttle service, it takes approximately 30-45 minutes.
