Welcome from the Gender and Sexuality Knowledge Community

July 19, 2016

Dear Fellows,

On behalf of the NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program and the Gender and Sexuality Knowledge Community (GSKC), congratulations on your admittance to the program and welcome to the field of higher education and student affairs!

The GSKC provides avenues for both social and professional involvement.  Our goal is to encourage personal and professional growth, increased awareness and acceptance of professionals and students, and to promote understanding of gender and sexuality needs. You can find more information about the knowledge community here:

https://www.naspa.org/constituent-groups/kcs/gender-and-sexuality

Patrick J. Hale, and I (Tya Pope) are your Gender and Sexuality Knowledge Community NUFP Liaisons.  We will be working together to make sure all of your needs are met.

Look out for our emails, as we will send more information out about the KC, the NUFPs, and how to get involved.  Find a way to get involved and don’t hesitate to reach out to us with your questions or concerns.

Once again, congratulations and welcome to the NASPA Undergraduate Fellows Program! We look forward to connecting with you soon!

All the best,

Tya Pope
