The Community Colleges Division includes the Division Chair appointed by the NASPA President and an Advisory Board that includes six senior student affairs officers, two faculty-in-residence and seven regional representing each of the regions. This unique structure provides advocacy, collaboration, and regional support for programs, institutes, activities, and events for student affairs professionals working at community colleges.
The Advisory Board works to support the goals of the Association through the development of its strategic directions and priorities by promoting and encouraging program proposals and by infusing the community college perspective into all NASPA programs, publications, workshops, conferences, regional programs, and publications.
VISION
The Community College Division works to
create a welcoming environment within NASPA for community colleges;

nurture and facilitate a positive working relationship within NASPA leading to increased responsiveness from NASPA to the needs of community college professionals;
- infuse ideas and ideologies of community college professionals into NASPA programs and services;

insure that issues affecting community college student affairs professionals are represented and addressed throughout the NASPA;

encourage research, discussions, and collaborations between community college professionals and colleagues representing all segments of higher education; and
- enhance communication via the regions by serving as a conduit to solicit from as well as disseminate information to the NASPA members.
