The Profile is administered each spring to a random sample of enrolled undergraduate students at your institution. The survey is formatted to match your institution's Web presence, including school colors and logos. The first page of the survey will be your school's required Informed Consent Form.

When data collection begins, the representative sample of students you provide will be sent an initial email inviting them to participate in the survey. During the data collection process, students who have not started, or who have started but not completed the survey, will receive reminder e-mails asking them to complete the survey. Students choosing not to participate will be given the option to opt out of receiving future communication. Students are informed that participation is voluntary and that they may skip any question they do not wish to answer.

The Profile is now administered as a part of the Student Affairs Assessment Consortium.  Institutions not participating in the Consortium may still participate in the Profile of Today's College Student.  For information about cost and registering, please visit the Consortium web page.
