WHAT DOES THE CENTER FOR WOMEN DO?
The Center for Women was created to build on the foundation that
women deans created through the now-dissolved National Association for
Women in Education (NAWE). The Center for Women provides professional
development programs for women at all levels of their career through
such activities as the Alice Manicur Symposium for Women Aspiring to be
SSAOs, sponsored programs at the annual NASPA conference, and the Panel
of Listeners program. The Center for Women also sponsors articles and
research for publication in the NASPA online publication, NetResults.
