WASABI!!!
  At the APAN meeting, one of the members yelled, "Wasabi!" mid-sentence.  Some of us thought it was his way of expressing delight in the present discussion because it was so random.  As it turned out, he bit into some wasabi so he was literally yelling, "wasabi!" because his mouth was burning.  Later that day, Julie and Joy took a picture yelling "WASABI!" to send to Monica Nixon. A week later, Tim Chang sent Joy and Monica an acronym for WASABI that encompassed APAN's and API KC's collaborative spirit (see below).
