Universal Design Resources

 Many colleges and universities as well as other groups have invested considerable time and energy investigating best practices with regard to the implementation of universal design principles within educational settings. The sites below are examples of such efforts.

 

AHEAD Universal Design Institute

The Association on Higher Education and Disability has assembled a collection of resources related to Universal Design.

 

The Center for Applied Special Technology (CAST)

CAST has a wealth of information focused on both reseach and application of universal design in learning.

Center for Universal Design in Education (CUDE) through DO-IT

The University of Washington's DO-IT Program (Disability, Opportunity, Internetworking, and Technology) directs the Center for Universal Design in Education.
