Indigenous Peoples Knowledge Community Goals

Our goals support the mission of Indigenous Peoples Knowledge Community (IPKC) and NASPA. We seek to build and enhance our community by creating and strengthening our relationships with our membership and supporters. Mentorship is important to providing guidance and support and we are dedicated to promoting and supporting our indigenous professionals, scholars, and students pursuing careers in student affairs and/or higher education. We serve to educate others about our organization and to serve as a resource on current issues that impact indigenous peoples in higher education. Our organization is committed to furthering accurate research on issues that impact the success of indigenous students. We value our partners and are committed to increasing our membership in order to sustain our organization and so we can continue to provide a network of support. We recognize the commitment and dedication of indigenous educators to serve indigenous students and promote opportunities in higher education for all.
