Contributing to our Newsletter
We are currently accepting contributions of the following types/topics:
- This I Believe: This began as a feature in NPR in the 1950s. In every LKC newsletter, colegas will have the opportunity to write about what they believe--their core values that guide their work and lives.
- Professional Development: Share with us some of the things that you have learned on the job/internship, at a conference, or about research that you conducting.
- Professional/Grad Student Spotlight: We want to feature our colegas across the U.S., so tell us about your journey in student affairs and higher education!
- Book Reviews: Have you read an excellent book recently? Write a review for us! It might encourage others to read the book as well.
- Articles: If you've come across a great article about Latino/as in higher education, share it with us.
- Campus Events: Send us your pictures and stories about recent events on your campus. Showcase the wonderful work you and your students are producing!
- News/Announcements: This is a great opportunity to share good news to the LKC Community at large. Tell us about awards and recognitions you have earned, as well as any announcements.
We don't have a fixed word count--use as many words as you need to communicate your story! Please send materials to lavozlkc@gmail.com by the deadline. Include a headshot and a 50 to 70-word bio with your submission.
