The purpose of the WISA Knowledge Community is to give voice to the needs of women in student affairs and to provide professional development opportunities through both regional and national activities designed to address gender equity and prompt personal growth. WISA initiatives work to center the experiences of marginalized people and focuses on the intersections of race, class, sexuality, disability and gender identity with gender and sex. WISA provides a home for student affairs professionals who work in women's and gender centers or with gender-related concerns on college campuses, creating networking opportunities for those professionals.

The NPGS KC Mentor Match Program

The NPGS KC Mentor Match Program hopes to help promote meaningful mentor/mentee relationships throughout the NASPA community.  The mentor relationship is a vital part of our professional development as administrators.  The opportunity to learn from a colleague’s expertise or share our own knowledge is one we highly value and often seek out in our profession.  At times though, it can be difficult to connect to members of our professional community beyond your already established network.  The NPGS KC Mentor Match Program hopes to provide an opportunity to reach beyond one’s scope of professional experiences to find a mentor or mentee throughout the NASPA community.

To participate as a mentor or mentee please complete the appropriate form below.  This questionnaire is intended to help us get to know a bit about you so that we can accurately match you.  Please use the comments section at the end to add any pertinent information we may have not touched upon in our questions.  We look forward to helping you find your mentor/mentee match!

If you would like to share you your skills as a mentor please click here.
