Pillars of the Profession – Class of 2010 Announced

The NASPA Foundation is pleased to announce the Pillars of the Profession - Class of 2010. Pillars were nominated by their colleagues and friends for their service to the student affairs profession. Each year at the NASPA Annual Conference, the NASPA Foundation recognizes a series of distinguished individuals who have served as leaders, teachers, and scholars in student affairs and higher education.

The NASPA Foundation's Pillar of the Profession Award is designed to honor members of the profession who:

  • are individuals of professional distinction, as defined by donors and supporters;
  • have served in leadership roles in NASPA, either regionally or nationally; and/or
  • are being recognized or remembered by colleagues, friends, students, or student organizations for extraordinary service.

In the nominee's name, a gift of $2,000 will be donated to the Foundation to further research and scholarship in student affairs. In order to contribute to a Pillar, you may give online or complete a donation form and send your tax-deductible donation to the following address:
