NASPA Region II Conference
Building Communities, Transforming Lives

The 2013 conference will be hosted by John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York, NY from Sunday, June 9th to Tuesday, June 11th.  The conference theme, Building Communities, Transforming Lives, calls out for a sustained effort to bring together the wealth of our collective experiences and collaborate as a profession in our goal to bring change to the lives of those we serve. The diverse nature of our profession gives us the opportunity to work every day on bridging communities not only within our institution but across the globe. It is through these powerful connections that we are able to transform our students’ lives. This year’s conference will focus on the impact we have on our communities, the responsibility we have to bridge communities and the ability we have to transform the lives within those communities.

Participants are encouraged to take advantage of this great conference opportunity filled with exciting speakers and engaging educational sessions.  The rich culture of New York City will provide an stimulating background for our conference. Registration will open by the end of January.

Watch for updates mid-December on the conference schedule, lodging information, and the New Professionals & Graduate Student Pre-Conference scheduled on Sunday, June 9.
