Region IV East Mission

Region IV-E is the organizational vehicle to accomplish NASPA’s mission within the Great Lakes (Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin, and the Canadian province of Ontario). Our regional challenge is to fulfill the national mission through professionally relevant and personally meaningful to NASPA’s members in our geographic area. This relates to the range of professional levels, from senior level student affairs professionals to mid- level and new colleagues.

Region IV-E leadership strives to ensure that national initiatives inform our regional activities and find expression in our ongoing growth, development, and contributions as student affairs professionals.

We carry out our regional activities through conferences, workshops, publications, technology, networks and other opportunities that promote personal and professional learning and colleagueship. All are designed to help us work rightly so we reflect state-of-the-art practices that promote organizational effectiveness and student learning and development.

Simultaneously Region IV-E leadership strives to provide professional enrichment opportunities that enhance and renew our ability to work well by providing colleagueship that transcends our individual positions.
