Knowledge Community job description

The Regional KC Representatives work to serve the collective efforts of their Knowledge Community within a particular region. Regional KC Representatives report directly to their Region Vice President (RVP) or their Regional KC Coordinator (reporting line is determined by the RVP).

Region KC Representatives may or may not sit on a Regional Advisory Board; this is determined by the RVP.

Regional KC Representatives are responsible for the following duties:

  • Serve on the appropriate KC Chair's leadership team and assist with achieving KC goals by leading Knowledge Community Activity with the region
  • Work to increase the number of NASPA members who affiliate with the KC
  • Assist in moving the National KC agenda forward
  • Develop a regional KC leadership team that generates and disseminates knowledge to the region's membership
