NASPA Tech Tools: Online Applications and Tools

From July 14–18 Tech Tools will explore online tools that rival Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel. These new tools often have features unavailable in their desktop-bound counterparts, including easy-to-use collaboration and sharing tools. More info

NASPA Tech Tools: Social Networking

Facebook, MySpace, and other social networking services have changed how many students communicate with one another. Like their users, these services have grown up and are now used by working professionals, young adults, and others. Participate in Tech Tools from July 21–25 for a greater understanding of social networking on college campuses. More info

Strengthening the Pipeline to Support Latino/a College Students

The University of Texas at San Antonio will host this professional development program October 16–17, 2008, as part of the NASPA Student Success Series. The program will address the unique needs of today's Latino/a college students and offer research-based strategies for student affairs administrators in effectively supporting this diverse student population. Beginning with the July 2008 NASPA Board of Directors meeting, reports will be available on the NASPA website in order to provide updates on ongoing activities and what is planned, as well as to seek input about all the business of NASPA. More info
