This professional development opportunity is specifically designed for Midlevel and Senior Leadership Educators to participate in active learning and dialogue around the ideas of integrity, values, passion, purpose, and collaboration, among other topics. More Info ASJA / NASPA Web Cast: College Student Suicide ASJA and NASPA are collaborating on a live, interactive Web cast, to be held on October 12, 2005 from 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Eastern. "Best Practices in Reducing College Student Suicide: A Law and Policy Perspective" will discuss several legal issues and a nationally recognized suicide prevention program. Join Dr. Paul Joffe and Gary Pavela in an interactive discussion regarding the law and policy issues of college student suicide. Registration deadline is October 7, 2005. The Nominations Committee needs your assistance! We are looking for innovative and dynamic individuals who are leaders in the field. Your nomination of the president-elect may help impact the future of our profession. Nominees must be professional affiliate (voting delegates are included) or a faculty affiliate at a member institution and must have demonstrated leadership in NASPA and commitment to the association. Your nomination is due to the NASPA office by November 1, 2005. The new president-elect will assume the presidency at the annual conference in 2007.
