More Info Stetson University College of Law and NASPA Announce Partnership NASPA and Stetson University College of Law are pleased to announce a new cooperative agreement under which they will jointly sponsor law and policy programs for higher education professionals. The NASPA/Stetson partnership will feature two co-sponsored, signature programs: The Student Affairs Law and Policy Conference, December 3–5, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nev., and the 28th Annual National Conference on Law and Higher Education, February 17–21, 2007, in Clearwater Beach, Fla. In addition, NASPA and Stetson will co-sponsor Webinars, e-learning courses, publications, and regionally-based workshops on key topics regarding higher education law and policy. Scott Goodnight Award for Outstanding Service as a Dean This award is given to a dean who has demonstrated sustained professional service in student affairs work, high-level competency in administrative skills, innovative response in meeting students' varied and emerging needs, effectiveness in developing junior staff members, and leadership in community and university affairs. Dean refers to any title that denotes the lead student affairs officer on campus. Nominations are completely online! The deadline to submit a nomination is Nov. 1, 2006. Leadership Educators Institute – Early-Bird Registration The Leadership Educators Institute is developed for new and mid-level student affairs administrators and will take place December 7–9, 2006 at Arizona State University in Tempe, Ariz.
