Placement Exchange Goes Live!

NASPA – Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education, in cooperation with the Association of College & University Housing Officers – International (ACUHO-I) and the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA), is proud to announce the launch of The Placement Exchange. This event and Web site service will change the way you look at the student affairs job placement process. More info

National Careers in Student Affairs Month

October has been designated as National Careers in Student Affairs Month. NASPA has prepared materials that contain several key resources to help you develop programs that support and promote this exciting initiative. More info

2007 National Hazing Symposium

The 2007 National Hazing Symposium presented at the joint meeting of NASPA/ACPA was so well received, that it is being repeated this fall. The program will examine how environmental analysis and bystander strategies can be applied at the institutional and individual levels to challenge hazing, and will provide theoretical and practical strategies to impact campus environments. Robert H. Shaffer Award for Academic Excellence as a Graduate Faculty Member

Nominate a tenured faculty member who holds a distinguished record of scholarly achievement, including publication in relevant literature. More info

Do you have a mentor or a VPSA who is phenomenal? Does this person take great pride in his or her NASPA affiliation? The Nominations Committee needs your assistance! There is less than a month to submit a nomination for NASPA Excellence Awards. This program recognizes the contributions of members who are transforming higher education through outstanding programs, innovative services, and effective administration. More info

2008 NASPA Cruise to Alaska – Reserve Your Space Now

Don't forget to make your reservation for the 2008 NASPA Cruise. We will set sail for Alaska on June 8–15, 2008. Ports of call include Ketchikan, Juneau, Skagway, and British Columbia, CA. Deposits are due to Janet Shumaker at University Travel on October 15. More info

The 2008 Silent Auction – Donate Today!

The Silent Auction is the NASPA Foundation's largest fundraiser. The event occurs annually at the NASPA Annual Conference. We seek to significantly increase the amount we raise this year. In order to do this, we need your help! For more information, contact Karen Pennington or Amanda Potts
