With the NASPA 15 Annual Conference around the corner, the MRKC would like to share a few tips for getting involved and connected to the KC at the conference. ·       If you or anyone you know is interested in attending the MRKC pre-Con (Saturday, March 21 from 9am-4pm, there is still time to register athttp://conference2015.naspa.org/) ·       Attend the MRKC social (Thursday, 3/24 at 9pm at Jax Bistro) to connect with MRKC members ·       Attend the MRKC Intersections of Identity Roundtable – be sure to arrive early! This popular annual roundtable brings together representatives from identity-based KCs, facilitators for small group discussion, as well as NASPA members interested in intersectionality. ·       Visit our table at the KC Community Fair on 3/23 from 7-9pm to pick up an MRKC brochure ·       Be on the lookout for MRKC stickers for your conference badges ·       Attend one of our two sponsored programs to learn more about serving Multiracial students

As a New Professional who identifies as Multiracial, being involved in the MRKC has helped me to further develop in my knowledge of how to support and serve multiracial students. Truly, I have learned how to better serve all students as a professional through this work. The opportunity to learn from our amazing leadership team and membership has been incredible. The MRKC has also provided a support community from which I can learn and grow through the work that we do to serve our students. I am so grateful for our membership and our leadership, and hope you take the time to be involved and learn about ways you can help us in this work.  Our Leadership Team looks forward to seeing you in NOLA!  MRKC Co-Chair Elect Christina Wan
