Have you recently started a position in Student Affairs?  Have you taken on new responsibilities within the Higher Education?  Are you finding it difficult to understand if Student Affairs is right for you?  If any of these are true for you we encourage you to consider attending the New Professionals Institute (NPI). 

The New Professionals Institute (NPI) is a community based professional development opportunity for new student affairs professionals (Five years or fewer of full-time experience in Student Affairs).  This day and a half experience includes opportunities to share, engage, and connect with others while gaining knowledge through presentations, small group discussions, and personal reflections.  Participants are engaged through a balanced and diverse curriculum while being supported by faculty mentors and fellow participants.   

NPI will mirror the theme of the NASPA 4-W 2019 Regional Conference, "Moving Forward" but will also focus on Career Planning, Navigating Higher Education, Professional Development, and Skills to Develop as a New Professional.
