    We have a unique kind of relationship. We started off being thrown together on “accident” during Christina’s first year as a residence life grad and Mel’s last year (for now) as a residence life professional. What developed was a deep professional bond through supervision that shifted to friendship and mentorship throughout that year working together and the following years.   • Veterans On Campus: Support Training

    Student Veterans of America and Kognito Interactive have collaborated to create two, innovative programs: Veterans on Campus: Peer Program and Veterans on Campus: Faculty & Staff. These 30-minute online, interactive training simulations place users in realistic scenarios with fully-animated, responsive virtual student veterans facing a range of challenges as they transition out of uniform and into campus life, including isolation, cultural disparities, academic difficulties, time management, and mental-health issues.
