ACADEMIC ADVISING WORKing GROUP

Description

The Academic Advising Working Group is a dedicated space for academic advisers across the country to connect with each other, share best practices, seek out support, stay current on academic advising issues and trends, and become empowered to enact change at our institutions. As such, we want to make sure this working group truly represents academic advisers within NASPA. This year, our goals are to foster communication among academic advisers, create a national network for information sharing, support professional development opportunities for seasoned advisers and new professionals, and collaborate with other knowledge communities in developing innovative programs. Our mission is to support advisers as professionals and collaborators, and create a platform where advisers can address and discuss key issues of concern.
