2018 NASPA TKC Small Research Grant Award

February 28, 2018

The TKC Small Research Grant was established to promote and encourage research involvement focused on technology-related topics and concerns. The grant itself is designed to assist in the execution of promising technology-related research that has the potential to inform the practice of student affairs administrators. Additionally, the recipient of this award receives up to $300 to support their research project. The TKC is pleased to award this year’s Small Research Grant to Dr. Josie Ahlquist, Dr. Kathy Guthrie, Dr. V. Chunoo and Connor Jones.

Dr. Josie Ahlquist currently serves as a Research Associate at Florida State University.

Other members of the Leadership Learning Center at Florida State University, Dr. Kathy Guthrie, Dr. V. Chunoo and Connor Jones make up the rest of the leadership team.

Their research will explore how the social change model can be used to develop digital student leaders through the Leadership in the Digital Age course. The purpose of the course is to gain greater insight into the process of digital leadership education through social media tools.

Congratulations to Dr. Josie Ahlquist, Dr. Kathy Guthrie, Dr. V. Chunoo and Connor Jones for being the recipients of the Small Research Grant!
