The Adult Learners and Students with Children knowledge community publishes a quarterly newsletter with, research, events and best practices of college and universities who serve post-traditional learners and students who are parenting. Check out some of the awesome work from University of Hawaii informing pregnant students about their Title IX rights. Imagine how hard it is to live on a financial aid budget and raise children, then understand how vital food pantries and emergency loan programs can be for our population. Southern Illinois Univ. at Carbondale is leading the way with a collaborative program supporting the student food pantry with some of the youngest contributors on campus.
