#CLDE17 Commemorative Pins to Support Local Community-Based Organization

Published
May 31, 2017

Each year during the Civic Learning and Democratic Engagement (CLDE) Meeting, we hold a philanthropy drive to support a local community-based organization whose mission is in keeping with our civic learning and democratic engagement work.

This year, to give-back to the Baltimore community, meeting participants can purchase a $5.00 #CLDE17 commemorative lapel pin at registration. Proceeds will support United Workers-Free Your Voice, an organization highlighted in our exploratory bus tour of the Curtis Bay neighborhood hosted by faculty at Towson University. You can learn more about this session on the blog here.

To add the bus tour (free) to your registration, please email durhamf@aascu.org with a request to add the Right to the City – Curtis Bay bus tour on Wednesday, June 7 at 5:30 p.m.

Be sure to purchase your very own pin when you pick up your registration materials as supplies are limited!
