The Outstanding Parent and Family Relations Professional Award:
This award recognizes a professional or graduate assistant in the field of parent and family relations who has had a significant impact on the profession. This individual’s achievements have advanced the profession or knowledge community in any of its aspects. Nominators should consider nominees that have demonstrated commitment to the profession, have contributed to programs that address the needs of parents and families, are experienced in creating campus environments that promote parent and family engagement, and/or contributed work or scholarship that supports the advancement of parents/families of students in institutions of higher education. A recipient for this annual award will be selected after a national nomination process and will be recognized at the NASPA National Conference. Self-nominations encouraged. NASPA membership is required for this nominee.
