College and university counseling center administrators cite anxiety and depression as the most common concerns students have when seeking help from university counseling services (Reetz, Krylowicz, & Mistler, 2014). Although the two conditions are distinct, studies show that there is a great deal of overlap in their symptoms and diagnoses (Eisenberg, Golberstein, & Hunt, 2009).
