Western Regional Conference 2017 Call for Program Reviewers

Dear Members of NASPA Regions V & VI,

Thank you for submitting such amazing program proposals! We look forward to reading your proposals and putting together our program for Currents, our Western Regional Conference 2017 in Waikiki, Hawai'i.

Now, we need more volunteers to review program proposals. To those of you who’ve already volunteered, thank you so much. For those of your considering volunteering, we hope you do - peer review is critical to designing a program reflective of our membership.

Here’s a quick snapshot of the details:

  • To apply, Volunteer Central (https://www.naspa.org/about/get-involved/volunteer) will ask for a very short cover letter outlining your areas of expertise and CV in case we need more details for assigning you appropriate program proposals
  • You’ll be reviewing 3-4 program proposals (about 1-2 hours)
  • You’ll have until May 28th to complete your review (extended from May 23rd)

Again, to volunteer as a reviewer for WRC 2017, please visit NASPA’s Volunteer Central to sign-up: https://www.naspa.org/about/get-involved/volunteer Detailed instructions for reviewing program proposals will be included once we start assigning programs this week.

Should you have any questions, please email us at [email protected].

Again, we sincerely appreciate your time and energy in this endeavor.

Mahalo (In Thanks),

Erin Kahunawaika'ala Wright

Programs Committee
