Giving to The NASPA Foundation has never been easier!  With just a few clicks and some typing, you’re able to donate to the NASPA Foundation.  The Foundation allows you to choose from many different opportunities for investment.  Those opportunities include:

NASPA Excellence Fund: Unrestricted gifts to support NASPA’s highest priorities in innovation and scholarship.

BACCHUS Fund: Provides scholarships for students to attend national and/or regional BACCHUS programs.

George Kuh Award Fund: Supports a stipend for the individual who is awarded the George D. Kuh Outstanding Contribution to Literature and/or Research Award.

James Rhatigan Fund: Provides NASPA Annual Conference scholarships to graduate students.

Melvene Hardee Fund: Underwrites the Dissertation of the Year award.

NUFP Scholarship Fund: Supports the cost of the GRE for undergraduate students pursuing a master’s program in higher education.

Research Fund: Supporting research and scholarship to add to the knowledge base of the profession and ensure that data informs practice.

Robert H. Shaffer Fund: Supports a stipend for the tenured faculty member who receives the annual Robert H. Shaffer Award for Academic Excellence as a Graduate Faculty Member.

Ruth Strang Research Award: Supports and recognizes individuals for outstanding contributions to the body of literature concerning women in higher education.  This award is presented in conjunction with NASPA’s Center for Women.

Social Justice Fund: Supports access and education through compelling thought leaders for NASPA Briefings and scholarship for members to attend NASPA programs to further their social justice education.

Zenobia Hikes Scholarship: Supports a stipend for a NASPA member who otherwise would not be able to attend the Alice Manicur Symposium due to the fact the applicant’s institution cannot support their attendance financially.

Knowledge Communities:  Support the long-term objectives of the following KC’s:

  • Asian Pacific Islander KC
  • Assessment, Evaluation and Research KC
  • Enrollment Management KC
  • Gender & Sexuality KC
  • Latinx/a/o KC
  • Spirituality and Religion in Higher Education KC
  • Women in Student Affairs KC
  • Veteran’s KC

The above information can all be found at the NASPA Foundation website.

When you include all of the Knowledge Communities, there are 19 different ways to designate your gift to the NASPA Foundation.  You can also split up your gift so it may be designated to more than one area.  Donating to the NASPA foundation can be made here.  On the donation page, you’ll also find a printable form (for designating to multiple funds).  In addition, don’t hesitate to reach out to your Region IV-W Foundation Ambassadors with any questions:
