NASPA FL BOARD REVISED ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE (Proposed Fall 2018)

The NASPA FL Board is excited to announce new volunteer opportunities to serve on the Board! In an effort to be more effective and productive, and as part of the Board’s strategic planning process, the current Executive Board proposed a new organizational structure in which roles and responsibilities were re-designed to improve programs, services, professional development, and involvement opportunities for the NASPA FL membership, at all levels of the profession.

Phase I of the volunteer Board positions selection process include: Chief of Staff, Conference Chair, Membership Engagement Chair, Professional Development Chair, Communications Chair, and Operations & Planning Chair.  The desired professional levels for Phase I are Mid-Level, Senior Level, AVP or Number 2. Once the Phase I positions are filled, the appointed Chairs will be responsible for executing Phase II of the organizational re-structure, advertising the remainder of the Coordinator and Lead positions on Volunteer Central. Phase II positions will be open to candidates at all professional and graduate levels. A proposed organizational chart is included below for your reference.

Eligible and interested candidates should apply via NASPA’s Volunteer Central (https://www.naspa.org/about/get-involved/volunteer) and must submit a resume/CV and a letter of interest. Applications for Phase I positions will be accepted until November 5, 2018.
