Welcoming all Student Services Professionals and graduate students interested in growing further in the field of Student Services, learning how to get started in the Student Services field, and learning more about the important role NASPA plays in a successful post-secondary Student Services Career.  Building off the momentum from the Southern Nevada event hosted at UNLV, the Drive-In Professional Development event is focused on serving the Student Service post-secondary areas at Great Basin College, Sierra Nevada College, Truckee Meadows Community College, Western Nevada College, and the University of Nevada, Reno.

 Event Objectives

Professionals and graduate students who attend this event will:

  • Receive updates from the 2017 National NASPA Conference in San Antonio, Texas, March 11-15, 2017.
  • Network with other student services colleagues from across Northern Nevada.
  • Learn about opportunities to take on NASPA leadership opportunities in Nevada.
  • Engage in discussions on how to present at a regional or national conference.
  • Advice from new, mid-level and senior-level leadership on career advancement in the university student services.
