The Memphis In May Student Affairs Conference (MIMSAC) is a one-day professional development conference designed to provide attendees the opportunity to share ideas and expertise regarding issues, challenges and successes in higher education and student affairs. The conference is held in May during the annual month-long Memphis in May Festival, a time for the city of Memphis to spotlight and celebrate the culture, customs, commerce and cuisine of a chosen country. The 2018 honored country is Czech Republic.
The theme for the 2018 conference will be Cultivating Thriving Communities. Participants will also engage in several break-out sessions, with topics that span the entire student affairs and higher education profession.

Please encourage your colleagues to present a program at MIMSAC 2018 by sending this Call for Programs to other potential presenters. The deadline to submit proposals is 11:59 PM on March 1, 2018. For more information please contact Programs Committee Chair Alison Brown at [email protected].
Those submitting proposals will be notified of their acceptance after March 14, 2018.
