Summit on Access, Persistence and Completion for Underserved Students

September 27, 2019
7:45am
University of Kansas, Edwards Campus

As institutions manage diminishing budgets, enrollment success is becoming even more vital at all levels of strategic planning. A holistic approach addressing the entire life cycle of a student’s matriculation to academic success is crucial. The Summit on Access, Persistence and Completion is designed to bring together faculty and staff to explore and dialogue on best practices that address critical issues related to access, persistence, and success for marginalized groups.

Sponsored by: the University of Kansas, the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, the Legacy Group Online, and NASPA - Student Affairs Professionals in Higher Education

About

This Summit will facilitate exchanging strategies, techniques and ideas to address access to education and completion for students from underserved populations. The Summit will draw staff and faculty in enrollment management, admissions, and diversity and equity areas who focus on recruitment, retention, and completion of students of color.

You will be able to dialogue with other higher education leaders about issues regarding the equity and inclusion, and you will have the opportunity to gain insight on best practices and resources from presenters and speakers who have demonstrated success in recruiting and retaining underrepresented students.

We have an excellent line-up of keynote speakers and workshops that can help you with recruitment and retention. You will also meet, network and learn from other higher education professionals. Please register soon, as space is limited.
