About

Masters and Doctoral students represent the future of Student Affairs, and this pre-conference is developed just for you. From thinking about how your personal and professional values will shape your career to how you can be a leader of change in higher education, this pre-conference is designed to support your journey while recognizing how you balance academics, career, service to the community, and your life outside of student affairs.  We’ll also provide time for essential networking with NASPA friends and colleagues.

Please note that the Graduate Student Institute is designed for both masters and doctoral students who plan a future in student affairs leadership. We will focus our time on the following themes: becoming a student ready institution, managing institutional change, developing your personal and professional philosophy, leveraging power and politics, and creating a professional development plan.

Join us for this informative, personalized pre-conference and kick off NASPA WRC 2019 in the best way possible!

Institute Goals and Learning Objectives
