Are you a current graduate student in a Student Affairs/Higher Education program? Would you be interested in developing and solidifying your professional goals through evaluation of your personal ethics and values? Join us at the Graduate Student Institute at the Western Regional Conference! Connect with a diverse staff from a variety of student affairs function areas, as well as your peers, to continue growing your professional network.

Learning Outcomes:

  • As a result of engaging in the Graduate Student Institute (GSI), participants will (or will be able to):
  • Articulate their personal ethics and values and how they inform their professional goals
  • Name at least two strategies that they will utilize to navigate the culture(s) of a position/institution
  • Analyze professional experiences and identify examples for common interview questions/topics
  • Establish meaningful professional connections with peers and institute faculty
