#SApledge: “It’s On Us” to Stop Gender-Based Violence
NASPA is supporting the White House It’s On Us campaign announced by President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden on September 19, 2014. The campaign, which focuses on college and university campuses, challenges everyone to see sexual assault as their own personal responsibility.
We know how critical and complex this issue is. We hope to gather thousands of student affairs professionals’ signatures to be part of the solution to end gender-based violence.

It's On Us
It’s On Us is cultural movement aimed at fundamentally shifting the way we think about sexual assault. It is a rallying cry inviting everyone to step up and realize that the solution begins with us. It’s a declaration that sexual assault is not only a crime committed by a perpetrator against a victim, but a societal problem in which all of us have a role to play.
The Not Alone website provides information for students, schools, and anyone interested in finding resources on how to respond to and prevent sexual assault on college and university campuses and in our schools.
