Assistant to the President for Board and Governmental Relations
University of Northern Iowa
Dr. Andrew Morse has led department-, division-, and institution-wide academic and co-curricular assessment initiatives at a variety of small- to large, public and private colleges and universities across the United States. His scholarly background explores the political, technical, and philosophical tensions and considerations in collecting evidence of student learning and resource stewardship in response to external stakeholder demands and, most importantly, the need for leaders and educators--including those in student affairs--to collect, use, and communicate such evidence. Currently, Dr. Morse serves as assistant to the president for board and governmental relations at UNI, and teaches higher education law in UNI’s master’s program in student affairs. Dr. Morse earned his master's in college student personnel and Ph.D. in higher education administration and policy from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
