Whereas, she is a steward of the student affairs profession affirming her passion and commitment by sharing her knowledge and supporting initiatives; and

Whereas, she currently serves as dean of students, senior student affairs officer at Newman University inWichita, Kansas; and

Whereas, she previously served as dean of students at Indiana University, Bloomington, and associate vice president-student engagement, dean of students, dean of enrollment services and director of undergraduate admissions at Wichita State University; and

Whereas, she earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in counseling and student personnel from Northern Arizona University; and

Whereas, her professional activities and affiliations include serving as a member of the NASPA Foundation Board of Directors, regional director for NASPA Region IV-W, member of the NASPA Board of Directors, chair for the NASPA Awards and Exemplary Programs Committee, member of the Awards and Accolades Committee with the Kansas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, and chair of the National Placement Services Subcommittee for NASPA/ACPA Consolidation Study; and

Whereas, a sampling of her professional accolades include numerous publications and presentations, the naming of the Christine Schneikart-Luebbe Camaraderie Award and The Golden Standard Award at Wichita State University, Outstanding Alumni Award at the Lake Havasu High School, Outstanding Leadership Award at the Division of Student Affairs at Wichita State University, Outstanding Advisor Award at the Wichita State University, and Dorothy C. Miller Award at the Wichita State University; and

Whereas, she is a dedicated partner to her spouse and the proud parent of twin sons; and

Whereas, her breadth of experience is rooted in a deep commitment to the students she continues to serve as well as to the student affairs profession; and

Therefore, in recognition of the high regard in which she is held by her colleagues across the Association, the NASPA Foundation Board of Directors recognizes Christine Schneikart-Luebbe as a Pillar of the Profession on this 30th day of March 2020.
