Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs
A twenty plus year veteran of higher education, Dr. Denny Bubrig currently serves as the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs at the University of Southern Mississippi (USM). He has been actively engaged on both the regional and national levels through the Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors, National Association of Campus Activities, and the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) as a part of the Public Policy Division, the Region 3 Advisory Board and other capacities. During his time in student affairs, Denny has had the privilege of working with students throughout the country in many different facets and has been engaged in public policy efforts through the NASPA Hill Days program. This past year, he took up a new challenge when asked to coordinate start up efforts for Esports at USM. When not involved with higher education Denny serves with the Hattiesburg Rotary Club and serves on the Council Executive Board for the Pine Burr Area Council, Boy Scouts of America. Denny enjoys traveling and activities with his wife Kathryn and their three sons Collier, Ellis and Flynn.
