Erica Eckert serves as Assistant Dean for Assessment and Accreditation and as Assistant Professor in the College of Education, Health, and Human Services at Kent State University. In this role, she manages the assessment efforts for accreditation, compliance, and program review and engages in instrument development and data analysis. She works with several disciplinary accreditors, and Kent State is accredited through HLC. Dr. Eckert also manages strategic planning for the college and serves as a site visitor for the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP). She teaches courses on assessment and evaluation (including accreditation), technology, and business administration in higher education and education research methods. Her experience is primarily in assessment, reporting, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, technology, survey development and data analysis, and admissions operations. Dr. Eckert has served as a webcast presenter for SCUP, NASPA, and Watermark on topics related to assessment and strategic planning.
