Dr. Jeanna Mastrodicasa is the Associate Vice President for Operations at the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS), where she manages budget, facilities, shared services, conferences and institutes, compliance, and supports government relations for the land-grant part of the university.  She has been at the University of Florida since 1997, beginning as an academic advisor and most recently as Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs.

Dr. Mastrodicasa is a registered lobbyist for the University of Florida at the state level and manages federal issues as well for UF/IFAS.  Since 2013 she has served on the Public Policy Division board for NASPA, a professional association serving higher education professionals; she will begin a 2 year term on the national board representing the Public Policy Division in March 2021. 

 Dr. Mastrodicasa holds 4 degrees from 3 SEC institutions:  a Ph.D. from UF in higher education administration; a M.S. in college student personnel from the University of Tennessee; and a law degree and a bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Georgia. 

She also served two terms on the Gainesville City Commission from 2006-2012.  She is a member of several boards which support local organizations in Alachua County.
