Jennifer Gagen is a VOICE Advocate at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta and assists student victim-survivors of sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and stalking. She also facilitates sexual violence prevention education to students, faculty, and staff. She has ten years of experience in campus victim advocacy and previously worked at Florida State University. Additionally, she has experience in victim services from the Tallahassee Police Department and the State Attorney’s Office in Tallahassee, FL as well experience working with criminal offenders at the Public Defender’s Office in Orlando, FL. Jennifer was the recipient of the Himmat Award from Raksha, Inc. in 2017 and the Big Bend Victim Assistance Coalition’s Charles Morris Victim Advocate of the Year award in 2015. She has a Master of Social Work degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminology & Criminal Justice, both from Florida State University.
