Graduate Assistant, First-Generation Initiatives

Jessica Guzmán is a graduate student in the Masters of Student Affairs program at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Chicano Studies and Education from UCLA in 2014. Currently, she is the graduate assistant for First-Generation Initiatives at UCLA where she supports and develops campus-wide first-generation programs for undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty. Through various outreach efforts, she advocates for first-generation students by educating the campus community about first-generation student’s needs and concerns.
