Kelvin J. Harris is the founder and president of Lead Motivate Inspire Consulting, a consulting firm committed to creating, developing and equipping 21st century leaders and agents of change.

In addition, Kelvin serves as the director for leadership development and alumni relations at UNCF where he is responsible for the strategic leadership of the student support services division for the Gates Millennium Scholarship Program. As a practitioner and organizational leader, Kelvin is known for his shared leadership approach and his personal and business philosophy and motto: Lead.Motivate.Inspire – Lead Intelligently, Motivate Intentionally, Inspire Effortlessly.

Kelvin serves as a Region II board member for NASPA. His board tenure also includes his recent appointment on the board for the Lead365 Foundation, and his recent service to Eastern Connecticut State University Alumni Association from 2008-2015. He has also served as a planning member for the National Conference on Race and Ethnicity in Higher Education (NCORE), and a scholarship reader for the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation and United Negro College Fund-UNCF.

As a scholar-practitioner, Kelvin earned a bachelor degree in sport and leisure management from Eastern Connecticut State University and the master’s degree in higher education administration from Florida International University and is working on his doctoral dissertation in organizational leadership at Northeastern University.
