Whereas, she is a steward of the student affairs profession affirming her passion and commitment by sharing her knowledge and supporting initiatives; and

Whereas, she currently serves as vice president for student affairs and dean of students at Stonehill College inEaston, Massachusetts; and

Whereas, she previously served as associate vice president for student affairs/dean of students and  director of residence life at Stonehill College, associate director of housing and residential life and senior residence director at Wentworth Institute of Technology; and

Whereas, she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Boston College, a master’s degree in social work from Simmons University, and is currently completing a doctorate in organizational leadership from Northeastern University; and

Whereas, her professional activities and affiliations include serving as the president of the Boston Area College Housing Association Steering Committee, director of NASPA’s Knowledge Communities, member of NASPA’s International Advisory Board, regional director for NASPA Region I, NASPA state director for Massachusetts, and circuit I co-chair for the Association for Student Judicial Affairs; and

Whereas, a sampling of her professional accolades include numerous publications and presentations, Massachusetts Association for Women in EducationAlice Jeghelian Award, the Stonehill College SGA Appreciation Award, NASPA Region I Continuous Service Award, and Outstanding Woman of Wentworth Award; and 

Whereas, she is a dedicated partner to her spouse Matt, and proud parent of three children, Jack, Mason, and Cole; and

Whereas, her breadth of experience is rooted in a deep commitment to the students she continues to serve as well as to the student affairs profession; and

Therefore, in recognition of the high regard in which she is held by her colleagues across the Association, the NASPA Foundation Board of Directors recognizes Pauline M. Dobrowski as a Pillar of the Profession on this 30th day of March 2020.
