NASPA is hiring a Vice President for Research and Policy. Reporting to the NASPA President, the Vice President for Research and Policy (VPRP) will be responsible for the strategic direction of NASPA’s research and policy agenda in support of the organization’s mission and vision. The VPRP will provide leadership to the NASPA Research and Policy Institute and work collaboratively, with the NASPA Board of Directors, NASPA Public Policy Division, NASPA Foundation, Faculty Council and James E. Scott Advisory Board.
The position oversees the administration of the research and policy functional area, including employee hiring and terminating, budgeting, and producing all related publications, reports, and policy statements. The VPRP will serve as a member of the NASPA Executive Team and, additionally, will support and advise the NASPA President in decision-making related to public policy issues.
The VPRP will serve as the functional Director of the RPI. Working with the Senior Research Analyst and Director of Policy, Research and Advocacy, the VPRP is responsible for managing and overseeing all NASPA research and policy functions.
